Real life “Sims” food made of paper

For you bacon-obsessed foodies, the bacon can be found in the lower right hand picture right above these words. :P
Now for everybody else, all these pictures are from a project of “paper-sims curious breakfast.” I love the idea and love the variety of foods they mimicked, but I’m a little disappointed to see the real girl with “real silverware” when another picture showed what appeared to be a fake knife, but I could be imagining that.
And is that a cupcake with coffee? Yum. :P
The ultimate poutine
That’s what it looks like. Amazing. Stunning. Delicious. Piled high with thick potato fries, curds, bacon, peppers, onions, and loads of gravy.
Here’s another view.

Oh yeah, heaven. I’ve attempted recreating this myself (yeah, I’ll show you the pictures another time, hehe), but I have yet to get anywhere close to the incredible (yes, it’s worth this many adjectives) poutine from Belgian Fries on Commercial Drive in Vancouver.
Did I mention how good this tasted? Mmm.
Carrot bacon – All vitamins, minerals, and carrot taste removed

6) To remove any vitamins, minerals, and/or lingering taste of carrot, deep-fry in 375-degree canola oil for a minute and a half.
That’s my favorite line of the steps it takes to make these. I rarely fry anything because I hate messing with hot oil and too much grease doesn’t leave me feeling so well.
We all know that if it’s fried, it’ll get eaten, though. It’s the American way….totally unpatriotic to avoid fried foods, too. I’m sure of this.
So why not fry carrots, too? Once dark brown, I doubt they resemble anything even close to carrots taste-wise, but I think calling them bacon is a stretch, hehe.
