Wonder where they get that? – When I let the kids cook…

Sometimes, it’s just plain easier to do the cooking myself. You know how it goes….you’re limited on time or patience or the desire to clean up after.

And then sometimes, I’m so happy to let them help.

L created both of these when given the task of chopping pickles and onions for tuna salad. She was in a particularly creative mood and came up with both ideas on her own, surprising me with a cutting board full of quirky food art. <3

Random Fun Food Pictures

I’m always finding random food pictures, but usually toss them on my QJ tumblr or save them and never get around to posting them. Here’s some to enjoy for today, though.

Scary banana face with monster cut into the banana fruit

Here’s some other banana art, although not nearly as creepy/scary.

Cup of coffee or cocoa or hot chocolate with marshmallows that is actually a cake that you can slice and eat

McDonalds fries shaped like 3D skull

pizza with peppers shaped like yoda star wars

Darth vader pizza with olives and cheese star wars

Pacman and blinky pancakes shaped like

Remember my sister’s Pacman party? These would’ve been awesome for breakfast.

raw meat baby

Man, and I thought my meatbaby was creepy. This one is a bit more 3D and dare I say, realistic looking. Ew.

Happy Birthday cake with axe old spice black guy man "I'm on a cake"

Old Spice and Axe chocolate head sculpture

I don’t generally like posting things like this. I found the pictures on theChive, however, I know they aren’t their pictures (and while I’m stating the site name and they’ve watermarked them as their own, I’m not putting a link here). I’ve seen some of them elsewhere, but they don’t list the sources and I can’t hunt down several of them to their original source. If you know who made these, please let me know so I can give credit where credit due (and maybe find some more awesomeness while I’m at it, hehe).

Babybel cheese art – Cute Food For Kids rocks the umbrellas and Santas

So I started this post with a handful of links/pictures saved over the last couple years, featuring various babybel art transformations.

The more I started digging for original sources, though, I discovered that most of my collection was created by Cute Food for Kids!

It’s definitely a site that has taken babybel cheese to a whole new level, so instead of creating a top 10 babybel art type list, I’ll just show you a few and then check out all the rest over at CFFK.

If you love character art, don’t miss the Angry Bird and Pokémon ones over there. Oh, and pirates. Don’t miss the pirates!
