Grab a drink on them – Mickey D’s has you covered on hot days

I know McDonald’s gets a bad rap quite often, but this is still kinda cool. They froze 4,000 Canadian dollar coins into a large block of ice to advertise their $1 drinks. Throughout the 5 hour span it lasted, thousands of people were able to grab a cool drink on them.

Or at least that’s the general idea. I wonder how many people actually grabbed a McDonald’s drink that day. I’m sure even more were spreading the word regardless, though.
