Daddy Likey posted about this a few months back (before she took a hiatus…*sniffles*). It just so happened to come with a haiku, too:
If you put your mouth
where your money is, at least
you’ll get some fiber.
If she were currently blogging, I would’ve made you go over there to see that awesomeness, but because she’s not, this is pure, public theft. I’m not bitter that she abandoned us or anything. *glares at the woman who claims she’s too busy to blog right now, if she happens to find her way over here through some stalker-esque backlink checking* Pfft. :P ;)

No, that’s not a typo. There really was a pea in my drink….in my yellow glass with frozen water (hey, that’s sorta like snow :P)
This is what happens when you store an opened package of frozen peas above your freezer’s built-in ice maker. It wasn’t nearly as shocking as the time I ended up with crayons in my drink, though, but alas, I don’t think I have pictures of that anywhere. :(
No, I’m not asking what substance it is. It’s fruit leather, of course. You can see that just from the title, sillies.
And I’m not asking about the shapes, although for the record, that’s 5 shapes in 3 sizes…..long rectangles, circles, triangles, curved teardrops, and straight teardrops.
No, I mean what do you actually ‘see’. Use your imagination. The first thing I saw was a bird. In the upper middle portion of the picture, there are two small circles with tiny circles within and then a “straight teardrop” beak. Before I even scrolled down to see what else was on the site, my mind was racing with other pictures.
Now as it’s explained on
Golubka, she envisioned playing a game with the fruit leather and even describes it as an edible puzzle.
For me, it’s just everyday playing with your food, which makes me love it even more.
Bird, trees, butterfly, flowers, sun
How clever is that? I don’t think I would’ve thought of the bunny at all!
