Rice teddy bear sleeping under an omelet blanket

Sleeping rice teddy bear under an omelet blanket - Prop his head up with a sausage link and add cheese for faces and pillows

Aww! Isn’t he adorable? From what I’ve read, it’s not just a plain omelet and rice teddy bear. He has sausage behind him to prop him up and it looks like there’s cheese for a pillow and facial features in some of the pictures.

I don’t tend to eat rice for breakfast except for the occasional fried rice with eggs inside, so I doubt I’ll be making this any time soon. I’ll leave this one to the other food artists out there, hehe.

(I am not linking to a source for this one because I can’t find it. Most of the top images and whatnot that come up for this are all from sites who have posted about in the months since I first saw and saved this image. Many of them are claiming it as their own, too, which I don’t want to encourage at all. So if you know the owner, as always, please point me in their direction or vice versa.)

~Edit~ Fancy Edibles has a collection of other similar bears, pictures, *and* a video that you guys might enjoy.

Dan’s pancake food art

Pancake food art - Pancake that looks like Mario's hat from Mario video game

Have you guys figured out yet that I love when people play with their food?

Jenni and Jim are my favorite pancake artists but Dan is getting a shoutout here because it looks like he’s doing it in a restaurant and not just in his own home for some kids. Beware that some of the pancakes are not PG-13…there is some language and pictures that are not for your kids. The multiple Mario-related pancakes are worth the click-through, though. :)

Have another Nutter Butter peanut butter sandwich penguin!

Nutter Butter peanut butter sandwich cookies. They look like penguins with a marshmallow belly, Tootsie roll arms, carnival peanut nose and feat. Nutter butters change shape to round cookie instead now.

Can you tell what each of the toppings used is? I couldn’t figure out what the white was to begin with, but after seeing the tutorial over at Hungry Happenings, I felt silly for not recognizing it.

I couldn’t even make this right now if I wanted to unfortunately. Did you know that they changed the shape to just being round cookies? Yeah, it’s pretty lame. :(

And I’m pretty sure if I used round cookies for these, they would turn out to be the most deformed little penguins ever.

Actually, this penguin plush toy might take the cake on that one:

Round penguin ball. Deformed fat penguin.

But they’d be rough regardless, so I’ll just drool over the penguins above instead. It’s not like I really like Nutter Butters anyway…. I only want to play with them. :P
