If you’re ever invited to a Halloween luau party…

Pineapple carved to look like a zombie face with a laffy taffy candy tonue and jam blood.

Then obviously this zombie pineapple is the perfect hostess gift. Or maybe it would be your +1?

If you want some closeups of the teeth and tongue, definitely click here. Oh, and the eyes, too. Crepy! The eyes don’t appear to be edible and neither is the flower, that I know of, by the rest is. The tongue is actually laffy taffy candy and the “blood” is blackberry jam. Cool, isn’t it?

Halloween pumpkin cheeseball with Doritos

Dorito cheeseball that looks like an orange pumpkin or jackolantern for Halloween with a green bell pepper stem for the top

Really, can you imagine a better food to create that bright fake orange color? Cheetos might give it a run for its money, but once crushed, I don’t know how well it would stick. I guess maybe the powered cheese from boxed macaroni and cheese might work, too?

Either way, you know my love for cheeseballs, so this one gets added to the list. It’s simple, but clever, and the bell pepper stem is perfect for making it into a miniature pumpkin. I might be tempted to add pepper cutouts for a jack-o-lantern face, though.

Ghouly pizza – Mozzarella ghosts and olive spiders

Pizza with mozarella cheese shaped like ghosts with black olive eyes. Spiders made of olives with rosemary legs.

It’s like every other pizza, but the cheese is shaped like ghosts (duh) and the spiders have rosemary legs. Pretty easy, no?

I’m not sure I would bother with the olives, though. Wouldn’t it be a bit weird to have a bite of pizza with a single whole olive plus a whole bunch of rosemary? I’d probably leave those to an appetizer of some sort at another time maybe.
