Random Fun Food Pictures
I’m always finding random food pictures, but usually toss them on my QJ tumblr or save them and never get around to posting them. Here’s some to enjoy for today, though.

Here’s some other banana art, although not nearly as creepy/scary.

Remember my sister’s Pacman party? These would’ve been awesome for breakfast.

Man, and I thought my meatbaby was creepy. This one is a bit more 3D and dare I say, realistic looking. Ew.

Old Spice and Axe chocolate head sculpture
I don’t generally like posting things like this. I found the pictures on theChive, however, I know they aren’t their pictures (and while I’m stating the site name and they’ve watermarked them as their own, I’m not putting a link here). I’ve seen some of them elsewhere, but they don’t list the sources and I can’t hunt down several of them to their original source. If you know who made these, please let me know so I can give credit where credit due (and maybe find some more awesomeness while I’m at it, hehe).
A to Z food survey – Let’s see how far you can read?

B: is for Bread, regardless of nutrition, calories, or whole grains what is your favorite type to have a nice big piece of? Homemade white bread, straight from the oven, with butter.
C: is for Cereal what is your favorite kind currently (just one!) Cheerios! Mostly for making funky stuff with them beyond just a bowl with milk and sugar.
D: is for Doughnuts, you might not currently be eating them but what kind do you fancy? Those really cheap, crappy powdered white ones. Or cake doughnuts. Ooo, or homemade ones using canned biscuits. /drools
E: is for Eggs, how would you like yours prepared? Sunny side up! Even though I can’t cook them that way myself because I’m always afraid of undercooking them, ha.
F: is for Fat Free, what is your favorite fat-free product? Ew, no. Just no.
G: is for Groceries, where do you purchase yours at? Aldis and Krogers mostly. Gotta love cheap. Although now I’m learning the ways of Safeway.

Z: is for zucchini, how do you prepare it? Battered and fried, yum.
“Food is too salty” – Watch your mouth or get jailed

Easy there with your adjectives, food bloggers. If you dare to call a restaurant’s offerings "too salty" in Taiwan (….), you could wind up behind bars, the Daily What notes.
A woman with an amateur food blog of moderate success (the Taipei Times reports she has received more than 60,000 hits) was sentenced to 30 days in jail, given two years probation and fined the equivalent of $6,782 CDN.
I know, I know, different countries have different laws and expectations. People are jailed for all sorts of things we’d consider “silly.”
Here’s the kicker, though. The rest of her review said things about the restaurant having roaches and such, but the judge had no issue with that. Apparently it’s okay to make claims about a place being unsanitary (even though it was later inspected and found at that point to be clean) and even to call the owner a bully (for letting customers park their cars haphazardly, leading to traffic jams).
To call the food “too salty,” though, was considered defamation because the woman had only tasted one dish and therefore, shouldn’t speak about the restaurant’s dishes as a whole. The fine was to pay the owner for lost business. Oops.
