The most ridiculous pizza creation yet

Let me break this down for you….

For starters, there is a full pizza, including crust, stuffed inside another pizza. That’s the “double” part.

From there, the outer ring is stuffed with three kinds of cheese…cheddar, parmesan, and mozzarella. The inner ring is chicken sausage and more cheese.

The inner pizza pie is covered in pepper alfredo sauce, smoked chicken, and zucchini. The second ring has salsa, turkey ham, bell peppers, and mushrooms.

And then, as if that’s not enough, they top it off with a cherry. No, really, check out the middle. There’s a “cherry on top.”

Wow, talk about overkill.

….where can I sign up? :P

Wasabi marshmallows and other quirky flavors

Wasabi paste that would be used in wasabi marshmallows

The Marshmallows Company was founded back in 2008….by a 5 year old. Obviously his parents helped, but it all started when he started learning to cook when he was 3…and by 5, he was setting up a “marshmallow stand” at a family party and selling them for $1 a bag. The rest is history!

As for the wasabi ones, I can’t seem to find where to buy them. It looks like maybe he used to create interesting flavored ones and now, he’s grown so big that he just sells certain basic flavors like vanilla. I like the idea in general, though, and because I can easily make my own marshmallows anyway, it got me to thinking about other flavors I could try out.

How to pair soda with cool ranch Doritos

Fanta paired with cool ranch doritos with the chips in a martini glass

Just when I got used to calling them the awkward “Cooler” Ranch Doritos, apparently they realized how stupid that sounded at some point in the last few years and they started labeling them “cool” ranch.

Samples of sodas including root beer, sprite, gingerale, gatorade, coke, fanta, grape soda, sunkist, tamarind, goya, jones green apple soda, a&w, cream soda, cherry cheery cola, dr pepper, shot glasses of 7-up and mountain dew

Now with that derail aside, this is another post similar to the cheesy chip pairing one. It appears to be written by someone different, but the humor is still top notch. Here are some of my favorite quotes about trying to pair junk foods with the perfect flavor of soda:

if you’re reading this post you’re probably just trying to get chip-faced,

Some particularly sophisticated chipsters (you know, the ones with mustaches and cut-off jeans)

I’m a fan of kettle corn, I get sweet-salty, but this went too far. Think caramel candy meets emmental cheese, in a sweaty back alley in Detroit during that summer the garbage men went on strike.
