It’s beginning to look a lot like Halloween….
For the record, I wrote this post back in September. Halloween foods were just now starting to pop up, but somehow, everything already looked like Halloween-related foods anyway. Like this one:
See? It has absolutely nothing to do with Halloween. It’s a simple egg caprese sandwich, but it made me immediately see a skull anyway, pfft.

This is what happens when you unknowingly let a stray sprinkle or two into the onions you’re chopping for potato salad. Oops!
The early birds get the pancakes
Breakfast waits for no one. And when it’s a mound of fresh pancakes, it’s each man/woman/kid for him/herself.
