Do you think the kids would notice if I make the entire Thanksgiving out of Jello that only ‘looks’ like real food? It’d probably be more work than doing the real food, but can you imagine the look on a person’s face if they were presented with something like this? Hehe.

How to make healthy cupcakes –
Use fruit instead, of course. The Barefoot Kitchen Witch is amazing like that. When Jayne found out she couldn’t send cupcakes to school for her daughter’s birthday because they weren’t “healthy,” she didn’t just scrap the idea. She modified the plan and sent in healthy mock cupcakes, made out of various melons.
Don’t they look awesome? She wrote a huge, detailed post with tons of pictures if you want to make your own. Oh, and if you want to see what she filled them with. ;)
Her kids are so lucky to have a mom who goes through that much effort….even if it is just because she’s stubborn. :P
