Kamaboko Spring bunnies (And maybe some Hello Kitty?)
She made these for New Year (you know, year of the rabbit?), but with Spring here, I was reminded of these adorable bunnies. If you aren’t familiar with kamaboko, it’s a Japanese fishcake like this: 
In a log like that, it’s perfect for Anna’s bunnies. And if you know how big Hello Kitty is in the Asian community, it won’t surprise you any that while I was looking for a picture of kamaboko, I also stumbled across several pictures of logs like this, too.
Say it with a Kiss – Hershey Kiss birthday cake
Hershey shaped cake with levels of Hershey kisses, with a bit Hershey kiss on top. What more could a girl ask for? Yay chocolate.
This one was for L’s birthday in ‘09 and you can see in the picture below there was lots of lovey dovey accents with heart plates, red/pink decorations, and even red kool-aid to match.
As per our usual tradition of not being allowed to see the cake until the moment the party is ready to light the candles and blow them out, here’s L waiting anxiously:

These were great back at Valentine’s Day, but even after the fact, I can see them making adorable little Martians. Can you picture them in green?
Dip them in chocolate first like I did with these marshmallow pops and the kids will go even crazier. Well, maybe that’s not such a good thing after all, but at least the treats will be adorable.
