Halloween oatmeal scary faces

What’s so quirky about oatmeal? Nothing usually. In fact, I don’t even like oatmeal. Sure, I love using oats in breads and cookies, but to cook up a bowl of oats and add various things to the nasty, sticky, flavorless stuff….isn’t appealing at all.

But this woman really knows how to make oatmeal look delicious. Granted, with many of these dishes, I’d probably just eating the toppings and move on, lol, but there are some I’m actually tempted to try. They look amazing and when I say “many more oatmeal recipes,” I mean it.

As in, I stopped counting pictures at 80… It’s an entire tribute to oatmeal. I’ve included a handful of her pictures in this post, but please go look at the full thing over there, even if you aren’t big on oatmeal or think it’s nothing exciting. You’d be wrong right off the bat after looking at her oatmeal banana split.

How goofy is that?? And yet, it’s nothing like the This Is Why Youre Fat stuff I’ve posted here already, because it’s actually something good for you. *Gasp*

They’re not just all a variation of the same toppings either. They range from hearty or nutty to sweet or even birthday cake! There’s no doubt about it, KathEats knows her oats and if anybody were to do a tribute, she’s definitely the one for the job.

I love the “face” oatmeal! Great meal suggestions – oatmeal is cheap and filling – my kids eat a lot of it!
