Drool-worthy Mario cake

Yeah, yeah, there are thousands of amazing cakes out there, and there are probably just as many sites that are devoted to featuring them. For those of you who know me from my main site, though, you know I have a soft-spot for the original NES and Mario. I’ve seen my fair share of Mario cakes, too, but I really like this one.

This post has several more close-up pictures and the sketch that this was modeled after.

Nutella with strawberries….in wonton wrappers…and deep fried? On one hand, it sounds absolutely delicious, and on the other hand, it screams “those crazy Canadians!”

Check out Life’s Ambrosia for the recipe. Have you had something like this before? Would you eat them if served?

I know, I know, they’re really gross, but come on, they’re quirky, too! The video is even better and shows them in action. There’s a mom using them even, and oh yeah, Rachel Ray, too. ;)

These guys are Spread Heads, and from the Gizmodo post about them, their names are Ketchup Charlie and Mustard Marvin. They’re only 4 bucks a piece and pop right onto condiment bottles you already have.
